A growing ecommerce business shipping hundreds of orders per day faced a common challenge: connecting their mobile pick-and-pack app with their shipping label process.

While the app helped reduce human error during packing, there was no easy way to generate a shipping label for the corresponding order.

The Challenge

Without an integration, staff had to manually type in each order number to match it with the correct shipping label. This was manageable at low volumes, but as the business grew, it became a major time sink. They didn’t want to skip the pick-and-pack verification step but needed a solution that could work with their mobile scanning app.

Our Solution

Zenstores solved this by enabling the business to print A4 integrated labels each morning.

Each label sheet includes:

  • The customer invoice
  • A peel-off shipping label
  • A custom barcode to link the order to the pick-and-pack app

Now, when a team member scans the barcode, the corresponding order instantly appears in the app, showing exactly which items to pack. Each product is scanned as it’s added to the parcel, ensuring 100% accuracy without slowing the process.

Once verified, the invoice goes in the box, the shipping label goes on the outside, and the order is ready to ship.

This functionality works with both Thermal and A4 labels and can connect Zenstores with a wide range of barcode scanning and WMS apps, not just this one.
