Matt Pemberton runs Volume Store, a successful eBay shop, selling mobile phone and tablet accessories. Matt shares the story of his success, his tips for keeping on top of dispatching orders, and how Zenstores helps his business run smoothly:
Why did you start selling online?
I was looking for a way to top up my income, some part time work around my full time employment, with the dream of maybe one day making it a full time career. I love the way that with selling online you can take an item and open up your potential customer base to international markets.
What have been your biggest challenges selling online, and how have you overcome them?
The biggest challenge for me is keeping up with the orders and dispatching them quickly to keep my customers happy. Using eBay’s online postage system can be very time consuming and we needed to find a good way of purchasing our postage and creating labels and invoices quickly and efficiently, that’s where Zenstores came into it for us.
Why do you use Zenstores?
We opened up a Royal Mail account and found that Zenstores was the best and simplest system for integrating with our Royal Mail account. I no longer have to spend hours producing labels via Ebay, I just log into Zenstores and can see all of my orders and with just one click of a button can produce labels, invoices, pick lists etc. It saves us a lot of time every day, and that’s why we love it.
