Frequently Asked Questions
How do I automate DX shipping?
Shipping rules assign the right DX service automatically. Set the conditions once, based on weight, destination, order value, channel, or product, and every order is matched to a service as it imports, ready to print.
Which DX services are available through Zenstores?
Zenstores supports all DX services, including DX Next Day for standard parcels, DX Economy for less urgent shipments, and DX Freight for larger or irregularly shaped items. Shipping rules assign the right one automatically.
Do I need my own DX account?
Yes. Zenstores connects to your DX account, so you ship on the rates you have agreed with them. If you don't have an account yet, get in touch and our team can help.
Can I route larger or higher value orders to DX automatically?
Yes. Weight, product, and order value are all available as conditions in shipping rules, so larger or higher value items can be sent to DX while standard parcels route elsewhere.
How do I print DX labels in bulk?
Select the orders you want to ship and print the batch in one action. Labels go straight to your printer with no PDF to open and no print dialogue, and they come out in picking order.
Do I need a thermal printer for DX labels?
No. Integrated labels put the shipping label and the dispatch note on one A4 sheet, so a laser or inkjet printer is enough. Any integrated label template works, and we recommend S4, S5, S7, S8, S16P, S19 or S20.
How do I create pick lists and packing slips for DX orders?
Pick lists and packing slips generate automatically for the batch you're working on. Print them with your labels, or use integrated labels to put the label and dispatch note on a single sheet.
How do I stop the wrong item going into a DX consignment?
Scan each item against the order before the label prints. Barcode scan-to-pack with a scanner like the Zebra 2278 verifies contents at the bench, so mispicks are caught before the parcel leaves.
Where does DX tracking data go once a label is printed?
Straight back to the sales channel. The tracking number is pushed to Shopify, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce, Amazon, eBay, or Etsy, and the order is marked dispatched, so customer notifications go out automatically.
Which sales channels can I ship DX orders from?
Shopify, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce, Magento, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and TikTok. Orders from every channel land in one queue, so DX shipments are processed in the same run whatever the source.
How long does it take to start shipping with DX?
Most brands are shipping within a few days. Connecting your DX account takes minutes, then it's setting up shipping rules and label printing to match how your warehouse works.
